The Right2Water Trade Unions have produced a Policy Principle’s for a Progressive Irish Government document which discusses the Right2Water, Right2Healthcare, Right2Housing, Right2Education and other basic rights that should be afforded to all of the people of Ireland. The subjects included in the document are not exhaustive and should be expanded upon.
The intention of this document is to begin a discussion about what type of society we want to live in. For too long now the people of Ireland have served the needs of the economy instead of the economy serving the needs of the people.
We want to develop this discussion further and so we are seeking your input.
On Saturday, June 13th, the Right2Water Unions will host a second conference to determine a policy platform ahead of the next General Election. We need your input by Tuesday, June 2nd which is the deadline for submissions.
